Diggs, Houston...I'm 20 min from the airport (IAH) if you ever make it down this way...

The second 12 is under the driver's helm, behind the fascia board and fires to the port side.

Adam-Props for doing the install yourself and sic boat. May want to move the solenoid/distribution blocks to a side wall area instead of the floor? How do you like the T-105's?

It's the upper san jac, it' sbeen raining non stop and the river is brown from the runoff.

2 eq's wre orignally one for the tower and one for the sub/interior...the sub works better of the HU, now the other eq just controls the interior speakers

Andrew, our boats already have a false wall built in ont he port side. my stock amp was mounted there.

I've had the same t-105's for abotu 2 years....no problems and have a ton of reserve. unless you haev to moutn batteries in tight spaces or on their sides, the t-105's are the way to go.

we run those trojan 105's in our motorhome and they are money... not sure why we never put them in the boat.... we really need to cause they are about the same cost as the optimas.... adam what do you see as the main difference between those and blue tops or yellow tops? Do you use those as your ignition batteries too?

Diggs, I stole the idea from you to move my “original” starting battery up under the cup holders on the observer side. The main difference between the t-105’s and the optimas is amp hours…and of course price. I get a little more than 4 x the amp hours with my t-105’s. What would cost roughly $480 in optima’s cost me 150 in the Trojan t-105’s. The batteries are meant to take a beating…..I worked at a gold course as a kid and we put the golf carts thru way worse than any boat I’ve been on. To me it’s a no brainier…unless you need the optima’s due to space constraints or funky mounting. I use the t-105 to runt he whole boat….even starting. My original” battery is only used as an emergency backup…Never had to use it. I’ve had my alternator go out on my last boat and the t-105’s were able to power us for about 4-5 hours with minimal music but let us ride the rest of the day.

I'm adding a 10 in a ported box along with another amp this week.

Nice set up Adam. Do you use your alternator to charge all your batterys? If so how many amps is your alternator?

adam i think the boats only have the false wall if you get some sort of factory stereo upgrade.....because we didnt get any stereo upgrades (planned on doing our own thing) and we dont have a false wall on the port side......
