They defend a child molester as a man of "great faith" and they wonder how they lost the evangelicals to someone like Trump. Pathetic.

I'm pretty liberal when it comes to corporate welfare, drug laws, etc. But I'm pretty conservative when it comes to gun laws. Who represents me?

I'd say it's revealing of how fundamentally crooked Hillary is more than anything else. That just makes me want to vote for Trump now.

The only thing that could make me want to vote for Trump is Cruz.

Whoever thinks moral rot is limited to one political party is a fool. Those focusing on the moral shortcomings of only one party are simply continuing the status quo gridlock and deluding themselves.

Moral shortcomings aren't limited to a single party. But using the moral issue as a diversion from serious issues is pretty much a cornerstone of the conservative party. It's the hypocrisy that makes it interesting.

Just more proof that our political system is broken.

No democrats should be pointing out moral rot of replubicans... especially while supporting Hillary...

Careful John... both parties, including the liberal one, have shown hypocrisy in spades. We don't even need to bother with listing the plentiful examples. The good or bad characteristics of parties are mostly defined by the lens through which they are viewed.

A good hypocrisy is a terrible thing to waste.

Caught this segment on 60 minutes last night and the NRCC thinks that Congress' time is better spent fundraising than doing real work. New members are supposed to spend 4 hours per day fundraising with a target of $18,000 per day and then only 2 hours on actual Congress related activities! $174,000 per year and 50% of that time is on the phone raising money? This is just the NRCC either, the Democrats are pretty similar. Anyone see a problem with this?

That article is chock full of zero facts and tons of stupid innuendo. Just because an entity uses CT as its registered agent is not evidence of nefarious conduct. Shoot, CT is a global entity that can act as RA in all 50 states AFAIK.

Any small business owner anywhere in america who incorporates or organizes an LLC has a registered agent. It may be an officer of the entity or it may be a third party RA like CT, which also specializes in making corporate filings.

Saying that using CT means you are a tax cheat is pretty much the same thing as saying that paying an accountant to do your taxes means you are cheating. The reality is many people would rather pay an expert to take care of a issue than half-ass it themselves.

Now, back to defending child molesters...

Using the tax laws to your advantage is not "dodging" taxes. It's called being smart. If you're going to direct your anger at somebody, then direct it at the people who created the loophole, not the people who take advantage of it. I wouldn't call you a tax dodger for taking a deduction for your home mortgage interest. I'd call you dumb if you didn't.

The point being.. those in politics are the ones making the loopholes and they are also the ones wanting the masses to pay more taxes.. while they build new ways to pay less taxes.

Don't ask me for more taxes while you are looking for everyway you can to pay less taxes.

Since when have politicians "wanted the masses to pay more taxes?" Unless there's another way you can explain the national debt, the problem is more that politicians want to provide more services without collecting enough taxes to pay for those services.
