Here is some "non traditional" surfing......just for fun. My video is kinda long for an internet edit 4:52......maybe good to view when it's too cold to board! We have had a great year in Indianapolis with a warm summer and fall! All footage is with stock G23 ballast.

Nice edit. It looks like that G is in need of an FAE, asap.

Thanks guys! Getting the FAE Surfpipe on the G over this winter. The main Board that is Yellow and Grey Is the Hyperlite Landlock. The sit down and lay down board is the Ronix Duke. Great boards to jump on if you're burnt out on working on the skim board or trying to get major airs.

I have NSS on my G23 and its amazing! What setting were you running in this video? My favorite is 11.3 mph with the NSS at 2 to 3. Throws a massive long wave.

Jimmy S, I am running 10.9mph with Vert at 5 and ramp at 2. I do this setting with stock ballast and 2 to 4 people in the boat. If I get 5 to 10 people in the boat I will run 11.1mph and then do vert at 4 or 3 and ramp at 1. I haven't weighted it down real heavy or listed the boat over at all with fat sacs.

Most of the time I run 10.9 with NCRS at 5 and NSS at 0 or 1 (depends on water depth). I ride a Hyperlite Broadcast which works well for that setting I have found.

Why do the nautiques seem to spew so much steam? I demoed a 2014 SAN 210 and it was like surfing behind a semi

I believe it has something to do with the Swim Deck sitting completely out of the water, allow a pocket between he swim deck & water, therefore Exhaust Fumes and Steam (from exhaust contact with the water) are allowed to surface... creating the white steam/smoke. I experienced the same thing behind a G23 this summer while surfing. A FAE is the solution to this problem.

Yeah on any 2013 or 2014 Nautiques (210, 230, G23, G25) you are going to want to have the Surfpipe FAE on it. In this video I do not have one. I am getting one over the winter. So if I come up with some other crazy surf Ideas I will be surfing exhaust free!!!

Hey guys the Yellow board I am riding in this video is the Hyperlite landlock. The sit down action is on the Ronix Duke. Looks like the final ride sessions this weekend in Indianapolis!

Great video! what did you use for the flyover shots? I love the drop-in's, we tried a few time at the end of the summer but couldn't ride it out. Maybe that big board is the trick.

The key to the big drop is to land on the "hard part" of the rooster so that the board doesn't sink. It is a little easier on other boats besides a G, cuz that is such far drop. I did it on a skim board on a Malibu LSV but it's not much of a drop compared to the G. The big board helps if you land too far back on the wave. I am definately not batting .500 yet on those haha Good fun though!

If my dry suit wasn't leaking and I had enough brave friends to get a crew I could still be riding. But with college footbal and hunting season finding a crew is next to impossible.
