LS3 is a small block. 2010 is the last year Malibu put a big block in a boat.

Great Looking boat. What is the traction Material surrounding the open bow? That's a great Idea not only for protection of your surface but a functional walking surface. Boats like the X star that have all these cool Sharp body and detail lines RIGHT at the High traffic area's are So stupid. Yea It might look cool on trailer but try getting in and out of a boat or walking on a wet gunnal that's shaped like a Triangle in bare feet. One of the Very cool things I like about the X star is the nice flat surface at the front of the boat. It makes loading and unloading people up at the dock from the front safe and easy. Just wish they would have used that idea on the top's of the gunnal. Looks like Bu got it right IMO

They do have a step area..... It is right on the sides, on the "hip" portion of the back of the boat....

Fixable; if your talking about getting in and out of a X star, and your referring to the" Hip" section of the boat as the section by the rear lockers. You can only use or get to this part of the boat when it's on the water. The only practical way of getting in and out of a X star while its in the trailer is stepping up on to the fender and then throwing a leg over the Gunnal and experiencing "the triangle" as it try's cutting you in 2. Sure when the boats on the water your can get on from pretty much any angle.

It's like a high texture skateboard grip tape. It's not necessarily rough but provides enough traction that you definitely wont slip on it. It's also on the gunnels of the boat, reaching from the tower back. It makes stepping in and out of the boat from the dock so much easier. Im also excited to not have to worry about scratching that area since that seems to always get a nick one way or another.

I might have gone for some white on the top deck but otherwise, it's magnificent. Well done!

FWIW, I always try to present the swim deck when picking up folks at the dock. It's easier on them and my boat.

Ah, I see what you mean. Although, I have never really found myself wanting to climb over the side of the boat when it is on the trailer. I just step up on the platform and then walk into the boat....... I do remember climbing over the side of my sea-doo all the time, back when I was 20, and full of piss and vinager

That is one good thing about boatmate trailers....... The optional back step makes it easy to step up on the platform!
