Hello everyone, I recently tore my ACL wakeboarding, and while it sucks, I want to start strong on this recovery. My doctor has recommended using a "game ready" ice/compression therapy system, and while I am aware of its benefits (including pro riders owning/using them) , my insurance does not agree and will not cover the rental.

I have searched the interwebs for a used one, but have not had any luck. I was hoping someone on this forum may currently have one not in use, that I could buy or rent. If rent is an option, I could pay shipping both ways (or pickup in florida) and pay what you feel is a fair and reasonable rental rate.

If anyone could help me out, please let me know. I would greatly appreciate it.

Taylor has one and we ran into the same issue with insurance. I do not want to rent it out since I did have to pay for mine out of pocket, however they are worth every penny. Contact Kevin Costin gamereadyunit@yahoo.com and I'm sure he can help you out with rental and getting you a unit.

I had 2 major knee surgeries over the last year on my knee and my compression/icing unit was $250. It was worth every penny. $2,500 is just dumb. There is no way that thing is worth it. I wore mine for about 10-12 hours a day for about 2 months and still use in occasionally. It works great for 1/10th the cost.

Thanks for getting back to me guys. Yeah, 2500 would be a bit of a stretch. I'm still in school and have enough bills.

Lftaylor: thanks for the advice. I will contact Kevin and see what he says. And not sure if it would sway you, but I would be purchasing my own leg sleeve to use even if I rent, just because I want new and sterile against my leg. So all I would need is the unit and connectors. But I understand not letting that bad boy out of site.

Skiboarder: what was the brand/model of the one you are referring to?

Thanks again!

Sorry. It was less than $200 delivered. Icing and compression in the first few weeks will make a big difference.
