Hour meter just stopped working

I was out on boat Saturday, and I noticed my hour meter just stopped showing up in the dash. I have never seen that before, anyone else ever see this? I'll pull out the ignition and check the wiring...

Mine had disappeared, it's led readout was contained within the tach, had to replace the whole unit! And then the hour meter starts over...
