86 degrees here today and boat is stuck at the shop with a jacked up trailer axle. Yes you are right, that does suck. I found some scrap metal lying around the garage and decided that $130 is too much for a box anchor. I got out the grinder and some cutting disc and went to town. I am by no means a professional fabricator (lease don't hate on my poor skills). I still need to clean up the welds and attach some sort of frame lock, but I think it might just work. Or at least work for the summer.
