You want the engine to run a little rich to be safe. That is much better than running lean (knocking). Assuming your engine is not carberated, the ECU will control timing and everything should not need adjustment. You (or somebody) with a laptop and an OBD II cable can plug into the OBD II port and do some logging under load to see if the engine is running rich.
