It is Real paint.

2 coats primer
4 coats House of kolor jet black
House of kolor voodoo violet kandy
Roth beatnik purple metal flakes 0.4
Roth toxic tailfin metal flakes 0.4

7 layers of clearcoat.

rest of the boat does too! nice job. looks pretty dark, hope its not too hot where you live

What's the advantage/disadvantage of painting a boat vs. gel coat?

Any plans for the yellowing white bottom?

gelcoat is much harder , but not as easy to apply as car paint . I love candy and metal flakes so I just try this

Another option is to buy a Malibu response 2016 but I dont have the $$$ or €€ euros in my case (dutch)

The bottom will stay as it is.. thats the original gelcoat. Maybe I wrap that also.

I hope you know what I mean cause my english is not that good.
