I've been having a lot of issues with a gimpy ankle. My forward ankle always gets twisted in pretty hard after a session. It's like someone trying to push my ankle inward the whole time I'm riding. I use "The System" bindings and I've already pushed the binding to 20 degrees which is as far out as it will go but it's still not pointed out enough for my ankle.

When the water is a little choppy, the problem is even worse. Any ideas?

Snowboarding doesn't really bother me even at 15 degrees but I don't have to twist my upper body forward in snowboarding either.

I use a McDavid brace and that seems to do the trick.

Have you previously injured your ankle?

Not to jack the thread but what kind of ankle injury did you have? I had a major sprain/ minor break in January and it hurts to land going off kickers and wakes.
