Style aside, who owns it? Who has the deepest bag in the sport right now? After seeing these videos of Harvey lately I think you can make a pretty good argument for him.

Man I have to say Harely is on Fire, B-hutton is up there to with his ts bs spinning, Harf if on fire as well, that guy has a lot tricks that only he does.

The only knock I have against the tech wizards is where are the Raley variations?

I'll take Keith Lidberg.

Harvey has the worst style?? Hmm...

Harley, not Harvey.... And, no way.... He's got killer style. Straight up booted on everything. I think he kills it. Style is subjective though. I guess it depends on what you're looking for.

You cannot count out style. Take Ricky G's indy pete rose. That trick is a lot harder than a regular pete so style (or grabs I guess) accounts for difficulty. Case in point here is Benny G. that guy's difficulty comes from his style. The same applies to going big. Anyone with BS 180's knows how much harder it is to take into the flats especially Randall's TS BS 180's.

ok yannick, that statement is wack about clifford having some of the worst style in the sport. Harley Clifford throws down, have u ever seen him do a oa ts bs 5. or not to mention his ts bs melon 180s

but myself i will have to take either the legend watson or harf, but i can care less about bag of tricks, it is all about style all the time in wakeboarding.........sorry prob.not good post for this thread

Darf has the most tech bag in the sport. Phillip has the most consistent tech bag in the sport. Harley has style.... he's no Ben Greenwood, but he's stylish for sure.

Dizzle - you west coasters and your "Ricky-G"... you guys are starting to be like Canadians with their "Gretzky"... get over it! LOL - kidding - partly ;)

Harvey and Darf! haha Sorry guys, not sure what I was thinking.

I think all around wake riding Rathy has to be up there. That section of push process where they show him throw regular and then switch BS 5's, whirlys, 7's, pete's, etc. is insane...and switch riding normally doesn't impress me much.
Old     (sidekicknicholas)      Join Date: Mar 2007       06-18-2009, 1:25 PM Reply
Harf for sure.... lets look at the "hardest" tricks.

Ts Bs 7 - yup. (how many others do that... shane and ?? ??)
1080's - yup. (Who else is doing those, just a few)
1260 - yup. Anyone, anyone ???? no.

His section in Drive has him doing nuts nuts nuts stuff.... he is technical, and stylish to boot.

I honstely cannot think of anyone who can hold a candle to his stuff.

Jeff House is pretty darn good too, everything he does he can do switch just as well, there is something to be said for that

B Hutt also has that HS BS OA 5 (or something like that) that is pretty crazy. But again, look at someone like Dean Smith who takes everything super into the flats. Yes, his tricks may have one less 180 but they are punted WAY bigger, more line tension, etc.

I am not sure that everyone would agree, but I would have to say the deepest bag of tricks would go to some old school riders like Parks, Shapiro, or Murray. Those guys can throw all of the tricks the new school is throwing plus more. Bag of tricks I mean actual tricks (raley based, mobes, spins, etc.). Anyone remember Murray and his Tweety Bird and huge Blind Judges. Also, Parks and his 313, Vulcans, Whirly 720 (both overhead passes). That s&%t is where it's at!

I completely agree with the old timers, but Harley is seriously impressing me with his bag of tricks. And don't forget Byerly (and Nelson, Schmaltz, Smith, Horrell etc.)...those guys killed it with crappy gear and i/o boats

Danny Harf hands down

At one time I'd say Parks, but now I'd have to go with Harf. 1080's, he's landed the 1260, TSBS7, and those are just a few recent accomplishments. I'd have to go with Harf hands down.

Danf Harf is Killing it right now. I was watching pull the other day and Murray is still charging. Everyone talks about Randy, Keith, and Dean Smith going big. I would have to put Murray in there too. He did a raley through a tree. SICK!!

"More 10's then anyone... and he goes freaking HUUUUGE"

Rathy has the most 10's. He's gotta be close to 20 by now; it's not even really news anymore. Plus his got a pretty big bag of hammers; KGB handle pass 5, Switch Pete 5's, TS BS 7's
Danny's probably the biggest bag and he's trying stuff that no one has even thought of and he's got the style to go along with it.

so nick do u really think jeff house has any place in this thread, or is this just the slingshot rep talking again
Old     (johnsvt)      Join Date: Dec 2006       06-19-2009, 11:42 AM Reply
I think House makes a trick look better than most.

I think all the pro's have a huge bag, and they probably have tricks they forget how to do since most comps are about mobes and spins.

I wonder who yannick really is

Tomtom, I watch him ride... he does every trick he knows, then does them all switch.... its insane.

but Harf still gets my #1 vote

i think keith lidberg is certainly up there. i saw him do and indy pete rose at the projects back in like 04, but it was w2w and he thought of it mid set while getting angry at not being able to hit any t/s roll2blind that day.

plus there are only a small amount of tricks that lidberg can do one way that he can't do switch.

Just cause you can spin a 9,10, or 12 doesn't mean that you have style. You have to add the style to the trick, not just spin it.

My vote is for Hutton.....SICK style and tons of tricks up his sleeve.

I think Harley has good style.. makes everything look easy, and has a chill riding style. As far as biggest bag of tricks goes, its a throw up between Soven, Rathy, Harley, and Harf.
