Stiffer: 09 Sovens or Watsons?

Anyone know whether 09 Watsons are stiffer bindings than the Sovens?

How stiff are the 09 watsons compared to years past? I'm looking at getting some ltds, so yeah.

if i remember correctly, when i asked about the 09s, i was told that the soven bindings are the stiffest in their line.

like Joe said, the sovens are listed as the stiffest boots in the LF line this year. The transist was their stiffest but now it is softer then the 09 shane.

The 09's (regular, not LTD) are much stiffer than the 08's. They are also a little bit taller as well.

The sovens are definitely not as stiff as the watsons. I've tried them on, side by side, with the straps all the way up on the sovens and the watsons were still noticeably stiffer. The soven feels about like a shane, but taller when you have the straps up. when the straps are down, they are very very flexible.

That makes it a tough decision for me. Cause I love how both the ltd Sovens and Watsons look, but I can't decide. I love poking out my grabs as much as I can, which has been tough with my 07 watsons, so I don't know if I want to go stiffer...

I was pretty sure that the Watson was the stiffest boot in their 2009 lineup and that the Soven was fairly flexible when i rode them

The soven's are pretty damn flexible, especially if you don't put the straps all the way up. I've been riding highbacks to the 3ds to the atlas so for my years of riding I've never experienced a boot with much flexibility. Getting into the sovens has been an awesome change though except I find them kind of annoying to put on.
