I posted this in the 303 vs Babe's thread, but I wanted to share this with everyone.

I'd like to say thank you to RJ at DTH inboards. DTHinboards.com He actually came to my house to show me how all the Babe's products work. He was very friendly, and informative. On a side note, he gave me some Collinite wax to try. I had just purchased some Meguirers Flagship wax. We were getting ready to wax the boat when he got there. After seeing how great the Collinite is, I took the Flagship was back to the store. You can actually use this stuff on your windows, plastic, and rubbrail. It goes on, and comes off easy, and leaves no chalky residue. This is the stuff I've been looking for.

I'm not sure what number it is. I'll look next time I go on the boat.

Looks like RJ and others are recommending the 925 stuff:

I wonder how well the 885 works... For Marine & Aeronautical Finishes:

RJ had 2 different kinds of Collinite. One was a cleaner/wax, and the other was just a wax. I got the "just wax" stuff. He recommended it because my boat was so new. He said the other stuff is great if you need to cut through years of abuse.

Anybody know what is in this? Is is just carnuba? Any UV protection? I would live to find something that seals well, lasts a long time, and has UV protection to keep the gel coat from fading. I've been using Klasse which is not specifically for boats but supposedly ok on gel coat.
