I would have posted earlier, but I was on the water with the new Tomcat. First, I would like to give a big thanks to Mike at The Sporting Edge for being patient and helpful through this very long boat purchase. It was long due to me looking at many boats for the past year and a half (yes, very long time).

I would also like to thank Mike Brendel and Dustin Brendel for answering all my questions. Or better yet, putting up with my questions.

Here it is in front of the house.

The boat was a squeeze into the garage. The tower needs to be set into the rear hatch for clearance.

More pics of garage fitment:

When I open my garage door, I am greeted by this:

I needed to modify my garage door hanger so the boat could fit better. I'll have more pics later.

Now that I have a touch over 5 hours on the boat, it handles great. This hull was swallowing up the chop out in the Delta past Frank's Tract and the main SJ channel on Saturday. On Sunday afternoon, the water was getting more rough. The Tomcat handled it great. Another thing to mention is that the bimini top was silent. At 34mph, you didn't know it was there. Maybe this is a non issue, but for me, it is nice having that much shade and not hear flappping material at speed.

Water was a bit too cold for me. I may have to invest in a wetsuit top or spring suit to get some board/air time in.

A year and a half gave me lots of time to plan for fitment.

As for the racks, I just loaded them up during the demo ride. Very quiet. Aside from that, I need more boat time to see how they work out. Initially, I like the bungieless swivel setup. I don't see any reason why I would change my take on them in the future.

We took the F21 out this weekend in the delta. We need to get some hours and seat time behind it.

Ready to launch!

Where did the boat go?

Ah, there it is. Coming in for a pickup.

Here are some pics of what I needed to do to my garage door opener to back up the boat safely into my garage.

I had to cut off the excess metal.

We also have to wrap up the emergency release when we take the boat in or out of the garage. It actually got caught on the side of the tower and released the garage door. Fortunately for me, the door only slide a couple of inches down.
