Great boat for wakeboarding. Only downside is that the interior is a little small if you ride with more than six people. As for the wake, one of the best out there and doesn't require more than ~2k for a slamming wake. Do a search and you will see many threads on this boat.

The price seems like a great deal assuming the boat has been taken care of with routine maintenance.

Awesome wake!!! I ride behind a 2000 which is the same hull with a different interior. 8 peeps is the max that fits, we usually have 2-5 on board without an issue.

You don't have to run tons of weight but its mackin with 600 in each rear locker, 300 in the ski locker and another 600-1200 depending on people. There is no stock ballast in a 99' so you can customize it however you want. 1000 lbs makes it really good, more makes it great. You may want to re prop the boat if you pig it out, I like the OJ 14.25x14.5 but a 13.7.17.7 is good too.

This boat was offered with two engines. I prefer the 310 hp as it seems a little more reliable. That being said we run the 330LTR and it has been pretty rock solid other than a water pump. The 310 is a throttle body injection unit the 330 is a multi port fuel injection both are a chevy 350 block.

Just saw 600 hours, no worries as long as some maintance has been done, the ballast may be a bonuse depending on how it was done.

Ballast would be $500+ to install

Tower speakers about the same

Perfect pass is about $1200+ to install new

That is a good deal with all the equipment already in it. Don't know what the balast it has, but the wake is killer when you get 2000+ lbs in it. Like others have said, it is not the most roomy, but you can make it work. I have been in them with 8-9 peeps + keg.

I owned a 99. Have the tranny checked, and absolutely run it first. Don't sweat the hours though as long as it comes with records. To level it off, try putting an extra 80 to 100 lbs under the passenger/middle/side seat.
