Your best bet in my opinion is to buy during that brief period where everyone pulls their boats out of storage and puts them on the market at the same time. The tail end of that period is when I found my boat and I haven't seen anything I would have bought since then and I'm always looking.

The supply of boats will increase to a certain degree with people willing to deal as some, not all, have to pay for storage. People will sell and hope to buy again in the spring when everything is out of storage.
That's what I've noticed, anyway.
