im looking for a new board that has great pop but also is pretty forgiving on landings and a soft landing. heard good things about hyperlite murray and liquid force shane...... any others i should be looking into? also i found this board on ebay is it a good board it says its a hyperlite murray but it doesnt look like the murray boards i have seen in the past http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-HYPERLITE-WAKEBOARD-MURRAY-142CM-L7-2007-PRO_W0QQitemZ250432519440QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_Def aultDomain_0?hash=item3a4ef0fd10&_trksid=p3286.c0. m14&_trkparms=72%3A1205%7C66%3A4%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A 1%7C240%3A1318%7C301%3A0%7C293%3A1%7C294%3A200

That is the last model of murray. it had an extreme continuous rocker that tended to be pretty slow.

the new murray has a true hybrid rocker with a continuous edge and a threestage rocker in the middle (if i got that right?) I have heard good things about it too. as well as the shane

besides those two i have heard good things about these boards being forgiving:
CWB Marius
CWB Transcend (2009 more specifically)
CWB Faction
Obrien Natural
Obrien Decade
All of the Slingshot Line
All of Company wake's line
and Sine

Personally, with experience, i would recommend a slingshot board or any other board with flex... ohh and i almost forgot that LF has the ennen which is a hybrid flex thing and ought to land soft

The response is an awesome board, but this could really be said about any board i suppose.

I am 6 ft 165 lbs
I rode a 145 response once when i demoed a larger one for a larger friend and still had a great time on it. even at the largest size it still felt lighter than the last foam board i rode (2004 hyperlite byerly 137)

there are no rider weight specs listed for 2008 and 2009, but 2007 response 145 recommends for riders 185 and up

never ridden the 08 (or 09) murray, but i'd love to try it due to its unique rocker pattern (though i doubt it would sway me from flex in the end personally). there are some threads when the pay-it-forward murray boards were being passed around last year. try reading them for some opinions too. a wealth of comments there for ya from every size of board too

yep, the pay it forward is going on this year, but with the length of the list I hope to see the 140 murray by labor day....
