In Wisconsin I had one single room 2/3 the size of our entire new apartment to hold my home theater / man cave / gaming lair .... trying to fit it into the new apartment was a challenge but I have pretty much everything from before in and running..... and did it with only putting two screws in the wall!

The two couches in the photo, as of today have been replaced by one big sectional couch which actually added seating to the small space.

and.... GO 9ers!

Your TV is 10x the size of your Christmas tree - you're doing it right!

Nice work! Where did you end up getting a place?

I am 25 min north of downtown Minneapolis. We have a SAN with 3.5K in the backyard on the lift when this ice freezes. You should come up!

I'll be looking to bum rides in a few short months! Thanks!

My fiance' got a job at Olson Advertising which is in the Ford Center building, so we are renting a place right now at 720 Lofts (north loop).... she has a two block walk to work.... I'm jealous. Once the lease is up I think we'll be looking to buy.... still torn on whether to head out to the burbs or stay downtown.

In a perfect world we could find something on the water (but not sure if our budget will allow it), I could by my old SAN back from my brother and wouldn't have to be a mooch.... but in the meantime I'm good for gas and cleaning.

Yes sir... I've been here for like 10 weeks now.... finally slowly starting to feel like its all sort of real. Was almost like a weird long vacation for a while. We are living between Washington and the Twins stadium in the North Loop / Warehouse Dist..... just sort of binding my time until spring / summer rolls around.

Thanks, had a bunch of LED rolls left over from a project at the old place in Wisco.... we've got them over the cabinets, and then they run the length of the 3/4 bedroom walls to the entry.... RGB with controller so we can have mini-raves.

They're really nice night lights, because they can be turned on/off with remotes.
