do you think that 134 to a 140 would be a crazy jump? I'm probably a 135 if I were to get a board to my exact size but will a 140 be a real challenge or will it be hard to notice too big of a difference? it may be easier to press?

I've just gone from a 135 watson to a 142 (that I built) and the difference was night and day at the cable, much more stable and soft as butter landings. (180lb and 5'8") I'm building a 137 to try and see which one works best but I'll most likely use the 137 on the boat and 142 at the cable

It is about 2.5 inches. Odds are, if you are moving from a 134 to a 140 your stance will widen about a hole, There is two inches. That means that you are only adding about a .25 inch to your tip and tail. In short, It is not really that big of a deal unless you are really small. <150 lbs and 5-6.

I'm 5'6" and weigh 168 lbs. I ride 3 different boards a 139,141 and a 142 . Bigger is better for soft landings, but i've never noticed the weight difference.
