What stereo system is everyone running this summer?

My 2012 Axis A22 comes in at the end of the month, so I finally ordered all of the stereo components for this year. I'm going with a full Wetsounds system again, which consists of the following:

3 pair of XS-650 interior speakers
1 XS-12 sub
1 pair of REV 410 tower speakers in white
1 WS-420 eq
2 SYN2 amps (pushing the REV 410's)
1 SYN6 amp (pushing the interior speakers and sub)

I'll be using a pair of XS Power Batteries D3100's to power everything.

I am stoked about this system! No, it's not the biggest or baddest out there, but I think it'll be exactly what I want for a normal boat that will be used for wakeboarding and surfing every weekend, with the occasional tie up and/or wb tourny party thrown in the mix.

I continue to be impressed with the level of customer service that I get from the guys at Wetsounds. It's really nice to be able to pick up the phone and call the manufacturer direct, ask questions, and get quick, knowledgable, and helpful responses. Even though I have not even heard the REV 410's yet, I felt comfortable pulling the trigger on a pair based solely on the product information I was given from my dealer and from Wetsounds.

I'll do a full write up and review once I have everything installed. I ran a very similar system the last few year years, except I had 485's on the tower run by a single SYN4 and a XXX sub run by a SYN1.

That's my 2012 system. What are you guys going to run this season. This is not intended to be a brand specific thread or anything. I'm in the mood for a good stereo discussion, so post up pics if you've got them and a description of your components.

Great setup for me, good bass, clean and loud sound. Can jam hardcore while riding and I am into it under $1000

My Supra just arrived and I pick it up today or tomorrow and this reminds me that I need to order my system. I am also not going crazy big, but a good clean system. I think I am going with:
-Stock Clarion Deck and JL Audio internal speakers
-4 Exile SXT65Q or XM7's on the tower (not decided yet)
-1 Exile 12" sub
-1 Exile Harpoon to power the towers
-1 Exile 1500.1 to power the sub
-1 Exile ZLD
-1-2 Exile blue tooth pucks

1 Kicker ZX1000.1

I use a Kicker ZXMRLC dual zone controller to separate the tower and cabin volume.

Thanks! I do everything while the lakes are frozen, so I still get to play with the boat in the off season. Still have a bit to do, my progress always slows once spring hits, lol.

I just ordered a MXZ

Nothing to wild but it should get the job done.For inboat speakers we will be ruining four Bulletholowpoint 6.5 HP coax and two Bullet 7.7 HP coax powered by an Arc KS 300.4 For a sub we will be ruining a 12" Kicker comp cvr in a kicker ported box hidden under the helm powered by an Arc KS 1000.1 I would love to upgrade the sub but it just wont die. For the tower it will be a set of Wetsounds Rev 410'S .I was planing on powering them with a couple KS 300.2's but Tim talked me in to trying them with a single KS 300.4.

I am upgrading the 45 to basically the OPs list when I get back from Singapore. You going to come out and play with us this year in the cove? I think I probably have atleast 2 months left to get it all together and installed though before it's warm enough to go near the water.

Sucks since it's been over 90 everyday since I got here but I don't think the company would ship my boat over for me to play with on the weekends for 2 months haha

Brian, what colors you go with?

Well I have a may build date, so I have a week or so to give them the colors. I really cant make up my mind on colors right now. I was thinking classic scheme, all vapor blue, black hull accent 2(where the hull indentions are), black hull. I also like all white, white tower, charcoal metal flake hull accent 2. im sure this will all change...

My vote is for all black hull with the red metal flake accents. That would be tough.
