On boat yesterday and no one can find a bottle opener. A buddy reaches into my glove compartment and pulls out a hyperlite binding claw and uses it to open his beer. It worked so perfectly that is seems like it was designed to do it that way. We used it as the bottle opener all day. Anyone else ever notice this?

Sweet,

You can open a bottle with just about anything though, even another bottle.

If I'm not wearing my Reef sandals, and don't have my keys and bottle opener with me, the wedding ring always does the trick (just with a little discomfort).

That is awesome, we've got a similar opener mounted on a barrel outside our front door but it's made from an old skateboard truck. We didn't actually have to do anything to it apart from set the gap so it opened bottles properly and bolt it on.

Used to have a sort of friendly competition round at my mates place, who could open their drink with the weirdest implement, can't use the same item twice. He had a garage full of stuff so there was plenty of choice.

lol I ran into this problem a couple weeks ago, and used the dash on my nautique to pop the top. There is a slight metal edge to the older 2001s in 86 and it worked perfect very first try!
