Just curious, say if you had $50k and wanted to buy a boat for wake surfing what would you buy? Say in the 23-24ft range? What's the minimum HP you would want?

What about if you had $75k for the same type of boat. What would you be looking at?

The older Tige's surf really well, but for 50k you can get fairly new. I think in the early 2000's range, Tiges surf the best. But newer than say, 2010-ish its all pretty much a wash....but thats just my opinion.

Agreed, a bu 247 would be sweet. I like those. they look nice.

I am actually going in partners with my Brother in law. He is more versed on boats and what to buy as I have never owned a boat and he sold a MC XStar awhile back. Thanks for all the replies and for those of you that have posted up yours for sale. A few of them have peaked my interest for sure... Still looking. Deciding if we wanna spend a little extra and buy new or just buy a used one..

If not Shawn's boat, maybe an NXT. It's a bit smaller, but it's 50k all day!

Tige 24ve, Centurion enzo 240, Tige rz4, Tige rz2, supreme v226, centurion typhoon and malibu 247. All will surf great. I would find the best deal that someone has already spent the money modifying for wakesurfing.

Things to look for.

Big ballast
FAE
Stereo
Low hours
Interior clean and stiching intact
perfect pass

Here are a couple tiges for sale.

that's a pretty liberal interpretation of $50k?
