Anyone comin to this thing? just trying to get a little grasp on how far we might be drawing from and who to look for. I will be there in the 2009 Centurion Avy c4 from Swamp Sports.

copied from the flier:

"It's that time of year again for the biggest party on the river -- MLR 2009. We are holding a double up contest and party at Moon Lake Marina. Last year was the first year of this event, but it was not the first event of its type in Monroe. Louisiana Spring Fling originally started at the same spot on the river and now has grown into one of the souths premier wake events. But since it has moved to south Louisiana, we decided we need to bring the party back to Monroe.

MLR will feature miles upon miles of butter to free ride. Thursday is the first day. It will be very laid back with vendor setup and all day free riding. Moon Lake Marina will be open all day with its bar and grill. Friday will be more free riding, but this is when the out of town folks begin to arrive and the place gets to hoppin. Saturday is the day to be there. The double-up comp will begin around 2 p.m. The double-up contest can be seen from the marina or you can anchor your boat along the banks of Moon Lake. Saturday night will feature a party at the marina from 8-11PM with Rock 106 bringin the tunes. You can come party with the Miller Lite Girls Saturday night. We will leave the marina at 11PM to head to a local bar to be determined. Sunday is relax and unwind time with more free riding and people just chilling on one of the many sand bars on the river.

Professional Wakeboarder and Team O'Brien Member, Sean O'Brien, will be on hand to throw down on Saturday night and Sunday. Swamp Sports and B&L Marine will be displaying all the latest O'Brien, Company Wake, and Centurions. Bayou Powersports will be on hand with Sea-Doo jet skis. Suncoast Sound will also be around."

you can't beat Moon Lake Marina. I met Joey who runs that about 10 years ago in Houston at an INT Nationals. He was super friendly and helpful in any way. we have been to Spring Fling when it has been there.
