What freq hz should I cross over my Wet Sounds SW-808's? I got them on 70hz. The 808's are on hpf right no can the be run on full range? I have the SD6 amp running 4 SW-808's and 4- SW650's. i have 4 12's I'm trying to keep up with.

Thanks
Brad

i'd imagine they'd recommend somewhere around 80 but if it was me and you want to get a little more volume and less distortion i'd go higher than that. I haven't heard the 808's but i take the 650's a little higher so its not as hard on them and everything stays clear even with bass heavy songs. That being said they definitely have the ability to go lower than I have them.

According to the specs, they have a frequency response of 35hz-22khz. WIth that you could run them full range. If you are looking to get a certain range out of them, such as only doing the mids and highs and letting the subs do the lows then I'd say you are right on target with about 65-80hz. This should block out the majority of the bass and keep the mids and highs clear.

I'd keep them around 110hz.

why would you cross them over so high? that's on the high side of where you should crossover a 6.5in

to answer your question we need more info, like do you have a subwoofer? If you do have a sub I would cross them over at the same frequency you have your subwoofer crossed over at.

4 Sundown SA12's subs, I have the crossed around 70hz now and it sounds awesome I was just wondering if I was leaving some on the table.
