If your are from Austin like your profile and name lead me to believe, why are you asking about LBJ? Why not Travis, Austin, Decker, etc...

Hit me up privately. I sold one of our camp boats to a Pro Football player down there and I can pass your info to him. Super cool guy and he's really pumped on the sport. Now we do a camp there every spring and fall at his place. Great lake!

I used to live there full time before college came around..(now it's the rents place)
I'll be back in town for the weekend of the 21st but, I don't know if the weather will be worth anything yet. Do you really live there or is it a weekend place for you?

Personally, I think Lake Austin down on the Mansfield Dam side is the most legit around. The water is super cold, but always a perfect mirror. Lake LBJ has some spots when it isn't too busy, like the Highland Haven cove or down by that bridge thing 10 min from Haven.
