Hey Ric,

I just got back from lake hamilton about two weeks ago. The weekends were pretty busy, but the best water that we found was north of the hwy 70 bridge. The worst day that we had was on Saturday, tons of boat out there. Friay was pretty nice.

I worked on Ouachita all summer, put in at Ouachita Shores right past shangri la, and as soon as you get out of the no wake zone hit a left. There's a cove at the end called L cove that we pulled in all summer and it's always smooth. Just don't go past the stump at the end of the cove, it get's shallow.

Hamilton is just ridiculous on weekends between memorial and labor day. It's a party (barge) lake. A good spot I like to launch at Ouachita is at brady mountain. Once you leave the no wake zone there you can go left and follow the shoreline or to the right and there's a nice spot in an inlet right before the blakely dam, both are usually very calm water and not crowded. Ouachita is big so it never really seems crowded, heck I've seen huge open areas on ouachita that looked like glass on a saturday. Degray is great too, lots of great spots and friendly peeps that ride there.

yep it's like a supra/moomba reunion there every weekend, and really good folks too, the INT crowd. And yep diamond lakes has degray on supra lockdown haha, this was a good weekend to go to degray, last INT tournament of the year. Would have been there myself but had to be in boston for a red sox vs yankees game. Glad to hear you guys had a great day out there man. See you on the water.
