Texas Tech will be hosting a collegiate wakeboard tournament at Aquaplex on April 29th and 30th. Riders need to register at the site before the 3pm start time on the 29th. The registration fee will be $25 dollars: $10 dollars for the site rental, $5 for boat gas, and $10 for insurance.
This event is open to all riders, but the better prizes are reserved for the top 3 collegiate teams. The top individual male and female will also recieve prizes. There will only be two divisions, open men and open women. Teams are allowed to enter 5 women and 5 men. The number of riders in each division will be multiplyed by 10. For example, if there are 40 riders in the mens divison the team point for first place would be 400, 2nd 390, 3rd 380 etc. The sum of each teams scores results in their placement.
The event will be pulled by a 2006 Malibu VLX provided by South Central Texas Watersports.

The water levels are to low at Aquaplex, so the tournament is being moved to Frameswitch in Hutto, TX. This is really for the best because Frameswitch is a nicer facility. All teams will be camping at the lake.

Directions:

From Austin, take IH-35 North to Roundrock. Exit Highway 79(Taylor) and go East. Take Highway 79 through Hutto.
After about 4.5 miles past Hutto on highway 79, there is a huge cow on the left side of the road. The next road on the left is CR101. Take a left. Travel about 1 mile down CR101 and the entrance will be on the right. You will be able to see the lakes before you turn in.
