Does anyone know if any new tricks are getting thrown this year in the pro tour, or is it the same pete rose, ts 7, hs 7, KGB, tootsie roll, then 9 off the double up format.

Jimmy LaRiche through down a backside 720 in the Jr. mens finals, thought that was pretty impressive.

Harf threw a 9 off the kicker yesterday, other than that, there were a few slim chances, alot of batwings, a few s-bends, a few dum dum's, alot of tantrum to blinds . . . you get the idea, oh yea, whirly's and just a few whirly 7's

Whirly 7's? Didn't see that, some whirly 5's. Wakins front mobe off the kicker was nice as was Harf's blind Pete.

Remember when they used to actually show wakeboarding on ESPN2. What ever happened to that? It certainly wasn't prime time but they used to show all the events. I don't think I have seen a tour stop in a few years.

They're supposed to have it on Fusion TV but I haven't seen it on TV yet this year. And I'm too freaking lame to have fuel...apparantly THAT'S great for wakeboarding and wakeskating.

I thought phillip soven tried a whirly 7 on sunday but fell? It was out of my view but that's what it was announced as, so I can only take the announcer's word for it.

Soven fell on it then got back up and landed the Whirly 7

It's a whirly dick if you want to split hairs. A whirly with a BS 360 tacked on. A whirly 7 wouldn't require a handle pass.

Rusty's first pass- switch ts7, regular ts7, transfer, switch method mobe, hs bs 5, switch hs7! I'd say that is stepping it up a bit!

Philip landed a Whirly 7, not a whirly dick. Probably easier for him w/ the broken hand not having to pass the handle.

rusty is an awesome rider, just thought id let you know, when he does his switch 7 i dont think he can actully do a regular one (someone back me if im wrong) i think he finds it easy to spin the other way, same with backmobes. do you guys think he gets scored more for it being a switch 7? no dis-respect atall to the guy as he is one of the best out ther. just thought id let you guys know.

I don't think switch counts on the tour.

I'm pretty sure he does them both ways.

switch isnt judged any different than regular- irregardless that's one helluva way to start your contest pass- his second pass is no slouch either- nuke glide, ts broll to blind, skeezer, transfer, cant remember next trick, flat bar

Roll to blind? Rusty does a switch R2B. Off the double up in reno, in worst water I have ever seen.

slater, I'm not sure what you're trying to say in parentheses, but I'm pretty sure darin shapiro was throwing that trick years ago in his contest runs.

Pretty amazing stuff from both dudes, I'm sure.
