^^lol. I want to go back down there for labor day but I'm not sure what the conditions are like since the lake is 25 ft down, last time I was there it was only down 7 ft and you couldn't really tell. Just looking for a heads up before I drive 4 hours.

You can use the Pecos ramp and drive the boat upriver a bit but you cant go to the Rio. The Rio is GTG from the main lake up to right past Panther Cave, after that you need a bass or flat bottom boat. I have been treading Mexican waters almost weekly the past few months without an issue. Only gunship i have seen on the lake is the Coast Guard, but not too sure if they are still in town tho. If you see a branch/stick out of the surface of the water your still okay. I'd just hang out on the Devils River if i were to visit.

That's where I usually go when we go there, rough canyon over at ruthies, just didn't know if the low levels had any effect on that area or the river

Up the devils your GTG. Only area that gets me nervous is the old sunken power house underneith the powerwires.
