Does anyone know the frequency or communication method of the wireless headphones for GM's rear entertainment unit? It's made by Panasonic.
I have a five year old that gets bugged by the foam on the factory ones. I'm hoping I can find a set that cups her ears instead of resting on them.
Right now she uses a plug in set but that cuts out my listening choices.
If you just know where I could find aftermarket that would be great, too.

Infra red. Did have a link to what you are looking for. I'll see if I have it on my computer when I get back and list it.

The one's that I had with my '03 Trailblazer were full on headphones, the type that cover your whole ear. Are the new ones not like that?

The ones on my '07 are full earphones, but the speaker foam rests on the ear. I need to find some that have a pad that rests on the head all around the ear. That way her ears aren't bugged by the foam.

we picked up some at Circuit City to have extras for the kids. They work like the originals on our 05 Tahoe. They weren't the foam ones, more like a cheap pleather.

Thanks Tim, do you know what the model was that you got, or the specs?
