Hey all, I managed to destroy myself and dislocate my thumb on a wall ride a couple of months ago. It was pretty gnarly but I got no footage of the accident which is a shame because it would have been spectacular.

To my question - does anyone have any links to videos where people get slammed on obstacles? I remember a cracker where someone ran into a kicker a while ago but I can't find it. I want to show some of my students how you can actually be hurt in wakeboarding - I'd like a better way of explaining what happened. Cheers in advance!

Feel free to throw in any slams you've seen/done - could be a fun thread!

A year ago I was transferring off a little kicker onto a rail. Caught my tip under the rail and ended up going over. Instead of landing on my face, I tried to roll and take the slam on my back. I ended up landing on the rail, literally on my neck and head, and my shoulder slammed into the sidewall of the rail. It completely blew my AC joint apart.

It took two surgeries to fix it and its going to be mushy for life. I have pics and video, but they're on my Instagram account with is blocked on this computer. (At work)
