So as the season was approaching we decided the stereo in our Axis needed to be upgraded. The original plan was to slowly upgrade and have it all done by next summer. Do to some lucky circumstances we were able to get the whole thing done this summer. It has been totally done for about a month now and boy do we love it!!! Just want to say thanks to Tim at Wet Sounds for answering about 200 emails from me, Matt at Axis for doing the same thing and our local shop Tommy's for taking care of us!

System Specs:

Syn 6 pushing 105wx4 3 pairs of Exile SX65C interior speakers and 600w to a Wet Sounds XS-12 Sub.

Syn 2 pushing 700w to a Pro 485

Syn 4 Pushing 400wx2 to a pair of Rev 8s.

WS 420 to tune it all

and one more of the new tow vehicle with the boat hooked up.

We would have gone with Wet Sounds interiors but we scored a heck of a deal we couldn't pass up on the Exiles. They sound great and we are very happy with them.

The original plan was 2 485s. I call Tommy's to see if they have one is stock and they had just sold the last black 485 they had. They call up Wet Sounds and ask about getting us one. They say it will take a month but in a month they are releasing a new line of speakers. Originally we were going to have Rev 10s up there but with the delays and the 8s being out in time for 2/3 trips we are taking this summer we went with the 8s. Since we are on a small lake we only crank the music while riding so the whole peaky/SQ debate stuff never comes into play. The system is LOUD and crystal clear at 80' so it works for us.

I would love to black the grills out like your 485s UNvisible. Looks so clean!

Why not just wait until the Rev 485 comes out?

Most likely when that happens we will pick one up. The thing is we purchased one 485 originally and were going to piece the rest of the system together slowly. Like I said it ended up happening quicker than expected. We already had the 485 mounted and running etc.... That is when the whole lets get a 2nd one followed by it being out of stock and coming in when the Rev series was being released happened. Emailed with Tim about it and he said it would still sound really good using a Pro 485 and the Rev 8s. It does and right now we are happy. When the new 485 does get released I would like to eventually go to the new 485 flanked by some Rev 10s!!!!!

Love the shot with the Denali. Trailer needs some wheels, but that is a nice setup.

Bruizza- showed my installer a few pictures of similar set ups for the A22, including yours ( i think, Tim at WS showed them to me) and mine turned out really good. So Thank you for going first

Thank you Tim @ wetsounds for pointing me in the right direction for what I wanted, and could afford

6 xs-650's
1 xs-12
1 Syn6 pushing them all. So stoked, sounds great, its the best system I have EVER had including in my vehicles.

Also, Thanks to Curtis @ So Cal Sound & Custom for the nice install and tuning.

My buddy traded out his alpine type Rs for wets interior. Wet sounds interior are not the greatest and this is coming from someone that loves 2 pro 85s on the tower with 500watts to one and same the other (aka bad ass)
