He is in a long term facility just south of Fort Worth and has not had much more than minimal response for quite awhile now. This is from talking and riding first hand with guys that rode with him.

Radikal, that means he's not talking that much if it all, but is awake I think.

Nathan, Colby got some kind of brain injury wakeboarding and was in a coma for a long time.

No, it means that people who are talking are saying that he is only showing minimal response, if any, which I fear is not good news at all. Minimal response in the world of brain injuries is really not much but you never know because sometimes people just get better for seemingly no reason. Let's hope this is the case with Colby.

I was told that he moans and responds to touch and words as though he can hear you but cannot talk or form any real communication.

Yes Gene, I just had his Physical therapists come into my shop about 5 mins ago and she said, he moans and trys to communicate, with facial expressions and such and is getting to a point where he is able to support most of his weight with just a little help.
She said she works with him everyday on her own time and said with brian injuries, you just never know, sometimes they just all of a sudden snap out of it over night and sometimes they stay the same forever.
Keep the Prayers coming for Colby and his family!!
