40 years of Midwest Wakesurfing Progress

In the '60s my family tried to wakesurf behind a very light 16 foot, 55 hp Starcraft. We gave up pretty quickly. Here's a picture of me on a surfboard that my neighbor in Toledo, Ohio made, and my dog Poco, note the paddle followed by a surfing picture from this year. As you can see wakesurfing in the Midwest has come a long way in the last 40 years.

Long hair was cool back in 1972, honest it was.
