CA Delta laws - propane stove on boat

anybody know if it's legal to bbq burgers n dogs with a small propane stove on the boat at the California Delta?

Not sure if it's legal but wanna bbq. don't wanna ticket though if it isn't.

Here's a less hassle way for a hot meal if you don't want to bother with bringing a bbq on board.

Boil hot dogs until they are cooked and hot.
Pour boiling water and hot dogs into half gallon/gallon thermos normally meant for ice water.
They will stay nice and warm all day long and are quick to get a hot meal started on the water.
Less time cooking = more time riding.

Or you could roll them in tinfoil and leave them on the motor while you ride.
