Just wondering if anyone has heard anything? Any new WS, Exile, JL Audio etc. coming out? The Rev series have been out for 3-4 years so I'm just wondering if they will be making a new version. Same for Exile.

Wetsounds definitely has some really exciting products coming. Wetsounds is on the move with a ton of new SKUs. But it's too early to announce and I don't have the specifics to share. But I'm sure Wetsounds will make some announcements later this Spring. I doubt you will see direct replacements for the anchor tower products...but just guessing...as I'm not on the inside.
JL Audio has an M880 (8") tower speaker with an oversized 1.2" dome. Not an HLCD. But it is an excellent sound quality speaker. Great midbass. Very smooth across the entire spectrum.
JL Audio has a massive infinite baffle 12-inch with a 4" voice coil. It's not that applicable for most towboats but really solves some challenges in other type boats.

Did you happen to find out how much for a set of the 8" collar extensions or are they included in the package?
Btw, two 18" + one horn is also perfect for a donk.

Since I'm out of the industry I'm not aware of any event. So whatever it is I'm not coming.
I stopped into the Dallas event last year because it is home and I wanted to see the jazz band and that specific presentation.
Coming through Kentucky though maybe in May on the way thru Cincinnati and further north.

JL Audio is soon to ship a Bluetooth receiver that streams aptX codec and has plenty of clean output voltage.
They said that to do better you would have to run copper (hardwire).
The preliminary MAP is said to be $39, although you never know absolutely until something lands.

Because Wetsounds says their BT receiving antenna is located in the face panel I would think high and tight under the dash is the best location.

Did some one mention BT, Here's whats new with exile, This company is growing and I look forward to seeing even more from these guys soon!  Cant wait to hear the all new 12" Sub!  and since boats are getting bigger, so are the cabin speakers, All new SX80M
