measured out tower wrong and bought the wrong clamps. Too much of a pain to exchange. Tower is 1-7/8 and the clamps are for 2" diameter. What can I use to fill up the 1/8" gap. Using duct tape just to get us through tomorrow. Let me know. Worst cas scenario is to exchange, but that takes too much time to get from MD to CA and back.

go to your local home improvement store and buy some rubber matt material.. you can cut it into strips and clamp down on that... plus you wont scratch your tower...

or you can use a bike tire tube just cut and wrap...

or garage door weather stripping.

don't leave the duct tape on for too long, it can be a pain to get off.

I kinda had that thought of some kind of rubber mat but wasn't sure. The duct tape is just to get us through tomorrow. Then we will get it up to snuff.....thanks.....
