I'm wondering if anybody can give me some info on a 2015 Skurfer - Barracuda -4'8"
Thanks.

So you're looking to ride a surfboard at wakeboard lengths I presume? I would try wakeskating if that's the case...Or are you looking to ride a "typical" wakesurf wave, a bit closer to the transom, and without a silly rope?

When I picture skurfing I think of this:

Looks like a knock off a Ronix. The problem with overseas factories, is eventually they just sell companies designs to anyone. Ronix doesn't have a decent board in their line up, so it stands to reason a copy of the koal is probably even worse.

If you are looking for a quality entry board I would look towards Liquid force..not ronix. I had a koal and it was pure trash . wakemakers.com is doing 15% off all Liquid force stuff with free 2 day shipping right now...I would that route.

We own a few other boards and have access to about a dozen more, should be good for the season. I would still like to know if anybody can find this Skurfer brand, seems to be narrower than the koal, and different fin setup.

The Koal is a decent board, but I I like the caption a lot better. It's a fast board that's durable and handles well. It's too bad they only made them for like 2 years though. If that was still in their line up, I'm sure they would sell it a lot more now than back in 2008/9, especially if they made the new version with interchangable fin pocket options
