The wife and I are heading out this weekend for an annual camping trip on Lake Mead that we've done the last 4-5 years. We launch at Callville and usually camp in the Rufas/Rotary Coves area a few miles east of Callville and just before the narrows section.

Thinking about trying to change up camping locations this year just for kicks. Looks like some good areas west of Callville, like Swallow, Quiet or Hideaway Coves. Anyone have suggestions or experience for a good Lake Mead camping spot they'd like to share? Thanks.

Quiet Cove was the place. Once we set up on the only beach head, the place was all ours, all weekend. Air temp 100, water temp 86. Snuck in a little boarding sans observer. Even had a little company.
