Is it easier to learn a HS backside or frontside 360? Or is it personal preference

I like teaching the FS first. You can build off the foundation of a good FS 180. BS 180s are harder than a FS or BS 360 for most people.

Backside is harder for sure.

TSFS is the easiest spin to learn, so I’d start there

Whatever feels best. I learned BS first. The initial 180 is harder, but the last 180 is so easy and you can spot your landing. Try both. My experience, however, is that most people find FS easier.
