I have a 79 MC that actually throws a decent wake for what i want. but how do i get the wake to get hard. i noticed in some of my pics that when i hit the wake i am about half way in the wake. i rode behind a moomba the other day and noticed that hittin that wake i felt like i was hittin concrete. i have no bags in the front but i usually have 2 people in the drivers and spotters seats and a pro x tube sac in the rear where the back seat is normally.

Try more weight in front.

like they said more weight in front and how fast are you going? i believe the general ratio is 70% in back 30% in front or 60% in back and 40% up front for the weight

notch it up to 23 and it will firm up, what length line are you riding at?

Add a little bit concrete mix... as you are driving have a spotter sprinkle some concrete mix along the top of the wake... that might firm it up.... or you can leave the bags of concrete in your boat and that has the same effect too.

If you can't get enough weight in the front for it to firm up, let a little out of the back while keeping the weight up front. Can somebody confirm my theory?

Add speed. I would prefer to be on the fast side than the slow side. Hate to sink in too much.

im ridin at 65 cause im just now gettin to where i feel really comfortable jumpin the wake. i can clear 70 or 75 but i feel like im gonna die when im in the air. but im startin to land in the flats so im gonna let it out some.

ill try to get somethin in the front like some sand bags maybe.

get some bags of concrete. wrap them in trash bags. stick a few up there and test it out.

My MC likes it about 70/30 - F/B. Def speed it up a bit tho.
