Lets talk towers guys . I really like the look of the ProFlight but it seems only one place sells them and it doesn't appear the Chubby is available any more. I've looked at all different towers now and cannot decide if I like any of them . Can you guys suggest any towers that look clean like the Proflight ? Seems like nothing really follows the window lines and flows with boat like the Proflight .The issue is they are over 3k once you add racks and stuff and thats a lot of coin for a blue collar feller like me . lol I need to get the boards out of the boat and would love to add some speakers down the road as well .
I helped a friend install a Monster tower last week and it seems like good quality and fairly solid but its one of those forward leaning towers and just doesn't look right on an older boat . My kids really getting into Wake boarding and my knee is healed enough for me to start learning to surf and possibly WB again so I think nows the time as long as we can get moms blessing which I dont think will take much shes already sick of tripping over boards in the boat . Please any suggestions ,advise or pics you could share to help me make a decision would be greatly appreciated . Thanks

what about the Big Air H20? it isn't exactly the same but kind of close in the lines - http://www.onlyinboards.com/Accessor...ard-Tower.aspx

or Reverse Mounted Cuda - http://www.onlyinboards.com/Accessor...ard-Tower.aspx

The Aerial Assault looks like it might be a good fit for the boat as well.

Not making the chubs any more??? that sucks. Love it on mine. super strong and silent.

Check the fold flat height on that Aerial. may be a 2 step process to get the front legs low enough to store folded

The cuda doesnt look bad to me but I still like the ProFlight Im looking into the Lightening tower as well since I am only an hour from Sacramento I might even be able to save on shipping .
I'm really afraid the budget towers aren't and sturdy enough or safe and I really don't want it to bite me in the A$$ down the road . Especially since I'm drilling holes in my boat to get one installed .

Haven't seen or heard a lot about these, but a friend had one on a CC2001. tower was super solid and a tad less than lightening. similar lines to proflights. and can get powder coated in several different colors

Have you tried calling Pro-flight directly? They're in Modesto.

Took momma to the delta ( Sanger country ) to look at some towers and have a nice day on the boat . She decided we want a Proflight in either white or black . We looked at a bunch of boats and there's a strong possibility we can use our exiting bimini with the Proflight tower . She really liked the way they fit and flow with the lines of our boat . Excited to get this done was thinking of it being a winter project but maybe we can scrounge up the Ca$h we might do it sooner .

I agree Ive been fighting it for a while but the kids are boarding and I hate trying to be creative looking for places to stash the boards out of the way . I cant lie Im a little excited about adding some speakers to the tower someday as well .

I'm having 8" tall 90 degree 2.5" dia rev 10 brackets made as we speak that I'm mounting on my gunnles. So I can slip under bridges with no problem and keep my full length Bimini on.

You can see the full length Bimini in the reflection it's a life saver in the summer.

Thanks for all the tips and pictures guys !! I saw one with the lightening tower and in person it just doesn't look as good as the Pro Flight . I also spoke with Sanger and they of course recommended the Pro Flight as well . Said it was designed to work the best with my hull .

I should also mention sanger offered to sell me the tower cheaper then anywhere else I could find. I really like this small boat company .
