Has anyone bought one yet or wakeboarded behind it? I test drove one but the water was crap so it was hard to judge the wake. Anyone running over stock ballast?

I will hopefully be test driving one Saturday. I wouldn't think you would need any extra weight for wakeboarding. It already has #3000 of stock ballast. I have a 16' SA and there is no need for extra weight to wakeboard and it only has #200 more ballast. If you want a massive surf wave you may want to add a little, but it will surf pretty well out of the box too.

I will reply after I get it out on the water.

I haven't rode one but they brought one to UT and heard the wakeboard wake is fantastic with stock ballast from a few people. Hope to play with one from my local shop Marine Products in the spring.

Killer boat! I was very impressed with the new SR, huge upgrade over the SC. IMO.

It was great stock with just two people in the boat but when we filled up a 750lbs bag it got really good.

DTB - I'm really looking forward to hear your review, and see how it compares to your current sa and past axis and mb. I too have owned a f22 and sold it after a year cuz the board wake wasn't as consistent as my old axis. Back in an axis now but very interested to hear if the Sr would be worth the upgrade

My SR should be here in a couple week. I will take some picture on the water when we do the lake test.

^^We had two people in the boat and a 500lbs bag on the floor. For under 21' it's a very impressive boat.
