I have a 1986 Supra Comp TS6M with a 351 5.8L Pleasurecraft V8. The boat ran great a few weeks ago when I took it out of the water. It sat in my driveway for a few weeks and wasn't touched. Now I cant get it started. The coil was split, I replaced it. It still has no spark from the coil though. Does anyone have a wiring diagram, ignition schematic, or any ideas? Anything helps....Thanks alot

do you have voltage to the coil? Where are you checking for spark from the coil?

Normally I would send you to the Supra forum . Are you running points? Check the coil pos and neg terms with a test light to ground . Key on engine off pos should be hot. Check the neg side wile cranking it should flash .

Not running points. If it doesnt flash are we condemning the electronic module and/or distributor? Also anyone have a wiring diagram?

you really need to get a volt meter and find where you have current and where you dont.

You have key on power to the coil and to the ignition pickup module? Breaker on back of engine is not tripped?

With key on, there is power to the coil. The breaker is not tripped

If you dont get a flash at the neg side of the coil when cranking you have a primary ignition problem. Check the module and pick up .
