supra anchor light

Any body had a problem with their anchor light not work on top of the tower. Mine is and 2006 24V. I replaced the bulb but still no light and no of the fuses under the dash are tripped.

I stuck my cheap voltage meter down in the light and it reads something like 250 vm with the switch on and like 125 vm with it off. But I'll admit I have no idea what this means.

I'm not sure on those numbers you got or even what setting you had your meter on, but if you were to meter the socket with the switch on, I would assume you should have 12 volts with the switch on. If you have the voltage, you may just have another bad bulb. If not, you can check continuity on the wires between the light and your switch and check voltage at the switch. Do you have a stern anchor light/socket you can check? It would be powered from the same switch and could focus your troubleshooting.

I do have a stern anchor light I will see what it does. I had the voltage meter on the same setting I check the batteries with but it kept coming up with those numbers. I have know idea why.
