Sign of the times? L.A. Boat Show

Did anyone go to the show? They used to take up 2 floors, upstairs for boats and downstairs for Vendors. Now it was on 1 floor and there were about 15 vendors, and the majority were timeshare deals,jerky and sleep number beds. Is it vendors going out of business or everyone saving their money? However the boats looked good.

i went to the show. also highly disappointed.took off work, drove 2 hrs one way for a show that took 2 hrs to walk through it all. i expected alot more even in these times. dont think i will go next year.

ya sickest boat at the boat show is the 210 byerly boat and i own a o7 x star

Interesting... The LA Show was the big one I would look forward to each year. I didn't go this year because I didn't have the time, but I've been feeling the LA show has been shrinking each year. I remember hearing each boat vendor had to spend huge money for each spot. So what boat vendors were missing?

I enjoyed the boat show. It wasnt two floors like in the past, but I didnt feel anything was really missing on the wake side. I did not see the Moombas or Centurions probably because the local Centurion dealer recently went under. It was nice that all the dealers had 09's on display unlike what I have heard about other boat shows. I almost got a Shamwow, but felt it would be better to save my money.

You could of got the ShamWow and the SlapChop in a combo pak.......how could you pass that up?

i hate to tell you but i bought those sham wows a month a go from target and im very dissapointed with them.they dont absorb enough water,noowhere near as advertised.

a Sham for sure..the super absorbers from autozone or walmart are way better!
