I am the best friend...

So mine and my best friends 21st birthdays are coming up and she's in bad need for a new wakeboard set-up. She's been riding her current board and bindings for too long and everything is too small and needs an upgrade. She rides my board when we go but I have been on the DL all summer and get too, protective, of my own stuff.

So I want to get her a board and bindings for her birthday. She's a little taller than me at about 5'8" 150 lbs.

Any suggestion on something to get her? I'm looking for newer and slightly used or brand new but a few years old. She would be a men's medium bindings since she can wear mine but also need those as well. I am on a budget but want some good quality stuff

If anyone has anything for sale or has a suggestion for me to look for, I really appreciate it!!

I just got my wife an 07 hyperlite syn with noise bindings. I am pretty sure the shape changed in 08 but the 07 board is awesome. We found the setup on evo gear for $238 shipped. This was by far the best setup that I found for the price.

Start checking Boarders Best Buy, they are starting to blow out '08 gear at sick prices.

yea second to boardersbestbuy.com u can get about an $800 set-up through there for like >$400.. just wait it out for about a week then u like find a good board and good bindings... like today the have '08 murrays for only 180!!!

Thanks guys! I've got until November so I'm thinking i'll probably find the best deals, even on 08 stuff, when summer gets closer to being over but I'm still looking out for that awesome deal that comes around every-so-often!
