I herd they finally got all permits from the city and starting to move equipment in a couple weeks ago. Permits pushed opening from June till end of summer. I also herd that since opening at end of season they could just open it to team riders to help design kickers and not open park until next spring.

Can someone in the area go take a picture? I'll believe it when I see a picture of a big, round ditch that looks like it'll eventually be a wake park.

I can't speak to the opening date but the construction is under contract.

Nice. That's a lot of dirt which translates to a LOT of risk. Atlanta may finally get a cable...and i just moved to Tennessee. I can drive down there weekly in what I save not paying state income tax.

Atlanta already does have a cable. Not a dedicated, isolated lake like this but it is growing and if business continues to grow, it will likely expand.

B&G is the general contractor onsite. I don't know if their contract is just the site work or the complete project.
