I am curious if any of you ladies are riding the 2009 LF Jett? I have been looking for a board for my girlfriend and I found one of these brand new at a great price. Any feedback on the board would be appreciated.

My wife rode one for the last 3 to 4 years. It's basically a Witness in different colors and sizes. She learned how to wakeboard on that board. It's very user friendly.

The Jet is a great board and exactly the same as the Witness. A friend of mine rides the Jet because he wanted an in between size and he is a very advanced rider but I ride the witness and I am intermediate at best. I know a girl who rides the witness also because she wanted a sligtly larger board.

I have never been on a Liquid Force brand board, but I am almost the same size as your GF...5'7" a tiny bit under 130. I have an old Hyperlite board that is a 131 and the 2012 Ronix FHL 132 and have been on my friends' Hyperlite Blur boards in 136 and 131. I've been much happier with the smaller boards. The only time I tried the 136 I felt like I was riding on the board instead of using the board to ride if that makes any sense? Everyone's body type and riding style differs...and I admit I do sit pretty low in the water if the speed ever drops too low especially when turning around, but I've never felt as if I were sinking and I totally feel more in control on the smallest lightest board possible. Hopefully she can try a few sizes and see what she likes.
