Just finished the break in on my '16 Sanger V215S. It had the FlyHigh sacks in the rear (1100 lbs each) and front (400 lbs), but am wondering if that's gonna be overkill for wakeboarding? I'm sure I'll want it all for surfing, but I bought the boat primarily to wakeboard? Anyone have experience with this much weight on this hull?

I've had a ProStar 205 in the past, but nothing with tanks before (dad brought us up slalom skiing). Any insight would be great. Thanks guys!

you're not gonna want anywhere near 2200 lbs in the back of your boat. I run my belly bag only for most wakeboarders in my 230. I've got a good bit of lead spread throughout the boat so that helps as well.

The real question, where's a pic of your new ride???

As a general guideline for wakeboarding you want 60:40 weight dist front to back with Sangers, ie 1,200 pounds in the front, 800 pounds in the rear. I have a 210 and follow this guideline but i think the 215 is similar.

You are going to want more nose weight. I've got a 230 but I run the nose with a fly high triangle on the seats and the belly full. I've got 750's in the rear lockers and I fill them but not till they are busting. Makes a great wake for wakeboarding!

yes Noah and Ralph are right. I have a 215 and run belly full(actually doesn't hold much) Front triangle(1100?) full to the max and 750's in rear usually half to 3/4 full, sometimes full. Awesome boat.
